"BI" ORGANIC FARMING
THE EGG WAS NEVER SUCH AN EGG!
WHY...
Because
the diet is totally natural.
Each farm that practices Organic Farming constantly researches possible solutions
to preserve the environment in the best way, with the objectiv of the breeder
being to convert animal and vegetable production.
In these farms the hens are not held in cages, but live free.
They have at their disposal ample space to feed, to scratch or to rest with full
respect for their needs and they have an abundance of air and natural light. With
contained dimensions, organic farms have a limited number of head, so as to guarantee
at least 2.5 square meters of open area per hen. In "Bi" farming the
laying hens live according to their nature. In contrast to intensive battery system
farming where
particular artificial conditions of life are in force (artificial light, type
of feed, medicines of chemical origin, etc...), they are not subjected to an intense
producing season so that they lay eggs that are richer but fewer in number and
smaller in size.
Because
the diet is totally natural.
90% of the feed in these farms must be composed of vegetable products grown organically.
For that reason the use of vitamin concentrates, synthetic food additives or other
chemical additives is not allowed. The absence of artificial and natural colorings
gives the "Bi" egg a distinctive light yellow coloring of the yolk.
Only through totally natural and balanced nutrition is it possible to return to
the egg authentic color and taste, naturally non-uniform
For
veterinary treatments.
Prevention is the most important rule. This passes through an action on the outside
environment, on nutrition and on the animal according to the plan of prevention.
Regular treatments with medicines of chemical origin are not allowed, so that
the hens that, during the laying period, undergo treatments with synthetic veterinary
medicinal products must be excluded from the organic agriculture circuit.

Because
they are certified "BIO" and Bioagricert
inspected and certified
To
be certified as "organic" very strict rules must be obeyed, thorough
inspections must be carried out in the farm management, crops and processing.
"Bi" eggs are certified by BIOAGROCOOP
